About BABI Villages

Shainaya is currently an undergraduate student studying Finance and Legal Studies at the University of Miami. She has lived in India for two years and has seen the poverty and harsh conditions that villagers in rural areas experience. She wants to make a positive impact on the village’s livelihood and is exercising her efforts towards the overall condition of the village by selling products and donating 100% of the profits to BABI Villages.

BABI Villages is envisioned to provide work for the villagers and improve their way of life. Together with Samara, her younger sister in high school, the duo share a grand mission of reviving and having the village sustain itself. They encourage one another to make BABI Villages a reality from their personal experiences.

Our grandfather, Babi, always spoke to us of how he wanted to make a difference in this village. We hope to sustain this village and little by little, help revive economies in villages all across the globe. With your help, anything is possible!

Thank you,

Shainaya and Samara

After BABI died, Sima, daughter of the blind man, had to drop out from school at the age of 9. Her family could not afford clothing to cover her body.
